Frequently asked questions

New to Korean skincare? You're in the right place. Here are the questions we hear most - and if yours isn't answered, just email hello@yuriglow.com.au. A real person will reply.
What's in a kit?

Each kit is a complete 5-step Korean skincare routine - five full-size products that work together, in the right order: oil cleanse, water cleanse, tone, treat, and moisturise. No samples, no sachets. Open the box and follow the steps.

Are the products full-size and authentic?

Yes. Every product is full-size and authentic, sourced from trusted Korean brands. Nothing is decanted, repackaged, or sampled.

Which kit is right for me?

We have four, each built around one skin concern - Hydration & Glow for dryness and dullness, Combination Skin for skin that's oily in some spots and dry in others, Oil Control & Clarifying for oiliness and breakouts, and Anti-Aging Glow for fine lines and firmness. Not sure which fits? Our Start Here guide walks you through it.

Why a kit instead of buying products one by one?

Because K-beauty is overwhelming - hundreds of brands, thousands of products, and a "10-step routine" no one has time for. We did the research so you don't have to. Each kit is a simplified 5-step routine, tested for months and chosen on results, not paid placements. You skip the guesswork and start with something that just works.

Are the products cruelty-free? Are they vegan?

Every product in our kits is cruelty-free. They're not all vegan, though - some contain animal-derived ingredients like propolis, which are common in Korean skincare. We'd rather be upfront about that than make a claim we can't stand behind. If avoiding animal-derived ingredients matters to you, it's flagged on the individual product pages.

How long does a kit last?

It depends on the product and how much you use, but as a rough guide, most kits last around two months with daily morning-and-night use. Serums and creams tend to outlast the cleansers.

How do I use the five steps?

The order is the routine: oil cleanse → water cleanse → toner → serum → moisturiser. Use the full routine at night; in the morning, a lighter version - cleanse, tone, moisturise - and always finish with sunscreen. (SPF isn't included in the kit, but it's the one step we'd never skip.)

How soon will I see results?

Good skincare is about consistency, not magic. Most people notice their skin feeling more balanced and hydrated within a couple of weeks, with clearer, brighter results over four to six weeks of regular use. Small steps, every day - that's how skin changes.

Should I patch test?

Yes, especially if your skin is sensitive or reactive. Dab a little on your inner arm and wait 24 hours before using it on your face. If anything stings, reddens, or irritates, stop using it.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?

Our kits lean gentle and are chosen with Australia's climate in mind, but everyone's skin is different. If you have a known sensitivity or a skin condition, check the ingredients on the product pages, or check with your GP or dermatologist first.

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?

We ship Australia-wide with Australia Post. Standard shipping is $9.90 (free on orders over $99) and Express is $12.90. Orders are packed and sent within 1–2 business days, and you'll get tracking by email. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet - we're Australia-only for now while we grow. We're based in Melbourne and shipping locally.

How do I track my order?

You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. If anything seems stuck or goes missing, email hello@yuriglow.com.au and we'll chase it up.

Can I return or exchange a kit?

If you change your mind, we offer an exchange or store credit within 30 days, as long as the kit is unopened and unused - for hygiene reasons, opened skincare can't be returned. If something arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you're covered: contact us within 30 days with your order number and a photo. Full details are on our Refund & Returns page.

Why might the outer box have small marks or creased edges?

Our kits are imported from Korea, and to keep prices fair - and to avoid throwing out perfectly good product over a dinged box - we don't reject stock for small cosmetic marks on the outer boxes. You might occasionally see a light scuff or a slightly crushed edge. It's cosmetic only; the product inside is always authentic, full-size, and unused.
